Two Opinions

As a sparrow hops between two boughs
Ye cannot decide on which to settle
The Word of Truth or your own heart
The choice before ye to test one's metal.

[REFRAIN]: How long halt ye between two opinions?
If the LORD be God, follow him:
But if Baal, then follow him.
And the people answered him not a word.

“No absolutes" is your mind's idol
From the Truth ye cut the cord
Choosing conjecture and men's own prattle
Rather than the Truth of God's own Word.
[REFRAIN]
The choice before ye is death or life
So choose your god you must decide
The way to life is strait and narrow
the gate to Hellfire broad and wide.
[REFRAIN]

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

How long halt ye between two opinions? - Literally, "How long hop ye about upon two boughs?" This is a metaphor taken from birds hopping about from bough to bough, not knowing on which to settle."- Adam Clarke Commentary

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
