I Chronicles 1:1-4 reads "Adam, Sheath, Enosh, Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered, Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah, Shem , Ham, and Japheth." The first ten names are the first ten generations of Jesus Christ's family line or genealogy. See these ten in the New Testament list in Luke 3:36-38. If we translate these Hebrew names into English we find a message relating to Christ. Let's examine the translations.
Adam:
(Strong's #120 or 121)The first man created; or the second Adam which is
Christ as in I Corinthians 15:45.
Seth:
sheth (#8352) to put or to place ; from root (#7896) shiyth which means to
appoint, appointed.
Enos:
Enosh (#582 or 583) mortal, fleshly.
Cainan:
Kenan (#7018 or 7064)dwelling, tabernacle, room, chamber.
Mahalaleel:
(#4111) praise , Praise of God, Blessed God.
Jared:
Jered (#3382) a descent from (#3381) to descend.
Enoch:
Henoch (#2585) initiated, from (2596) to narrow, initiate, dedicate, to train
up, teaching.
Methuselah:
(#4968) man of the dart or man of the branch. From two words(4962) adult,
man and from(#7973)sword , branch. Methuselah has a dual meaning- can also
be rendered "When He is dead, it shall be sent" see Bullinger's Companion
Bible, page 10,Genesis 5:21 note.
Lamech:
(#3929) powerful, to teach, learned , a disciple- from(#3928).
Noah:
(#5146)to rest - same as (#5118)to bring comfort or rest ; comforter.
Now let us combine the translated names in a
chain to form a sentence.

*** The second Adam is to be appointed a mortal dwelling [John 1:14 "And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,..."] Praise of God shall descend teaching. When He (The Man of the Branch) is dead, it (holy spirit) shall be sent powerfully to bring comfort (The Comforter)
